While COVID-19 has certainly impacted lives around the world in a heartbreaking way, it has also created opportunities for amazing people to shine their light. Hair Stylists, Lucy Halperin, Jeremy Tardo and Amanda Shuttleworth can be counted among those amazing people with the launch of their project, FrontLine Fortnight.
What is FrontLine Fortnight?
It is a platform that connects salons and hair stylists around the United States with front line hospital workers to gift free hair services between May 23rd and June 6th. Well known hair stylists and salons from California to New York have already begun pledging their services. Notable names include: David Babai, Benjamin Mohapi (Benjamin Salon), Johnnie Sapong, Mara Roszak (Mare Salon), Jenny Cho, Mira Chai Hyde and Ted Gibson, as well as hairstylists from Mèche Salon, Sally Hershberger Salon, 901 Salon and Ramirez Tran Salon.
Front line workers have already begun signing up and FrontLine Fortnight is looking to the beauty, barbering and hair community to help make this initiative a success.
