It’s a new year and a new ShearShare for hair and beauty professionals. We are so excited and proud to introduce the entire industry to the new ShearShare. New Logo! New Colors! New App! New Tool! Same amazing mission — to be the greatest engine of jobs and wealth creation for the barber and beauty industry.
Success can’t happen alone and neither can brand and product updates, it literally takes a village. Our rebrand and app redevelopment was no one person show and it didn’t happen overnight. If 2020 showed us anything, it was that we all had to be prepared for unexpected change.
When in-person businesses had to shut their doors with no real forecast as to when they would be able to reopen, there were a lot of entrepreneurs and solopreneurs figuring out how they were going to pivot their business. Rather than try and make our model work, we decided to ask our ShearShare community what they needed to help them through the uncertainty.
Reimagine The Way We Work
At first, there was a need for information and updates about the COVID pandemic and its effects on communities and their businesses that help those communities thrive.
That quickly transitioned to opportunities to find grants, loans and financial help to keep businesses afloat. So we transitioned from just helping beauty and barbering professional rent workspace to helping our community manage, maintain and grow their individual businesses.
Your feedback was heard loud and clear. Not only do our community of owners, operators and professionals want help finding and renting hassle free workspace, they want services and tools that help them grow the business revenues and retain more of the profits!
Introducing ShearShare 2.0
The new ShearShare includes a brand new state of the art mobile app experience that delivers on our promise to connect salon, spa and barbershops owners with professionals looking for space to rent by the day, at an affordable price. However, we took it one step further by expanding our in-app features to help reduce operational expenses, increase business productivity and ultimately grow your revenues!
We could go on all day about all the new and exciting changes that have been launched with our 2022 update. Although, it’s easier for us to show you than for us to tell you!
