Over the weekend, our co-founder and COO, Courtney Caldwell, was inducted into the Hall of Fame of her high school alma mater, TMI Episcopal, a 6-12 college preparatory school located in San Antonio, Tx. The selection process requires a nomination by a fellow alumni, TMI faculty or staff member, and selection by a committee that represents all of the stakeholders of TMI, past, present and future.
Courtney Caldwell’s Career highlights
As a graduate of the class of ‘97, Courtney has been making headlines ever since graduation. Courtney spent nearly two decades building winning teams in tech marketing and has held leadership positions in both early-stage and late-stage technology organizations: vice president of marketing for Marketing Advocate, global director of Oracle’s worldwide digital marketing strategy and innovations group, head of digital demand generation and JAPAC field marketing at RightNow Technologies.
She is a well respected thought leader in the beauty-tech space, Courtney has headlined a number of industry events; most recently during Phx Startup Week as well as the upcoming PowderKeg Unvalley 2021. Courtney has been leading by example for her entire career which is why the ShearShare team was not surprised to learn of her Hall of Fame induction.
During her acceptance speech, Courtney credits TMI with setting her up with the building blocks for success. It was at TMI that Courtney learned the value of hard work, independence but also the power of community. This important foundation has been crucial to Courtney’s development, especially as she started the building ShearShare with her husband and co-founder, Dr. Tye Caldwell.
