On March 21st, ShearShare hosted our very first exclusive Industry Night at our new headquarters in Buffalo, New York! Barbershop, salon, and spa owners and operators from the Western New York area met inside Seneca One’s auditorium where the ShearShare team welcomed them with open arms.
We kicked off the event with words from our Co-founders Dr. Tye and Courtney Caldwell thanking our new industry friends for their interest in joining the ShearShare community. “We wanted to plant our flag in Buffalo with this event to allow owners to get to know us and how we can help fill their empty chairs and suites.”
Buffalo’s Barber & Beauty Industry Learn How ShearShare Supports Small Businesses
The fireside chat, 0moderated by our Customer Success Advocate, Evan Dressel, provided our guests insight into ShearShare 2.0 and how it can support small businesses. Dr. Tye and Courtney discussed how our newly improved app provides hosts with everything they need at their fingertips. After the chat, we let guests take the reins to ask questions, as many of the attendees were interested in learning how ShearShare works. When asked about the industry issues the app addresses, Dr. Tye explained how ShearShare helps small businesses stay on top of new work demands. “We’re giving them more control and making it easier on the owner by letting them list their stations and suites at a time and price that’s convenient for them, tracking local pricing trends through the app so they stay competitive, covering them at no additional cost through the daily liability insurance we offer, and offering opportunities to meet potential future employees.”

DJ Larry Loud kept guests dancing as they enjoyed refreshments and talked shop with one another. We also gave away prizes, including 10 free professional videography sessions for shop owners.
