Congratulations are in order, y’all! Our amazing co-founders, Dr. Tye and Courtney Caldwell traveled up to Buffalo, New York to compete with 19 other startups for the chance to win a portion of a $4,500,000 investment. ShearShare was included in the finalist selection and received a $500,000 investment from the 43North fund!
The $1,000,000 grand prize went to an amazing Buffalo based startup, Top Seedz, which produces artisan crackers and roasted seeds. As a health focused company, we couldn’t be happy for them. However, we’re even more excited about the opportunities the new investment brings to not only the ShearShare team, but our amazing community of beauty and barbering Hosts and Professionals.

This significant investment allows our company to continue developing our platform to include features and tools that will help owner/operators as well as independent professionals run their business with peace of mind. We’ve been hard at work developing ShearShare 2.0 and this new investment will allow us to plan and activate an ever better experience for our ShearShare community, and the beauty and barbering community at large.
