This is an independent barber collective located in a historic Hazel Park shop. Operating since the 1970's, Mr. Shellnut re-opened the shop from 1989 to 2017. Through the traditional barbershop model, the new management strive to preserve the rich history of classic barbering through independence and opportunity from some of Metro Detroit's finest barbers.

About the Neighborhood:
The shop is very close to I75 , 5 minutes from Detroit, Ferndale and Royal oak. Great indie dining, drinking , coffee and shopping all a 5 min drive north, south and west. Neighborhood is "up and coming " and is surrounded by already thriving downtowns. A hop and a skip from historic M1 which will take you on a 1 shot tour from Detroit's river front to posh downtown Birmingham with shopping/dining galore in between!
About the Host:
Host Bridget has been a licensed cosmetologist for 11 years . Her passion out from behind the chair lies in growth, opportunity and support, opening her own spaces 2 years ago to help shift the direction of salons and barber shops in the area to a more opportunistic direction. Offering 100% independence to long term chair renters, she encourages them to form LLCs and build their individual brands and businesses.
